About Dan Holzman

Dan Holzman’s August 2026 return to WEEU marks a return to where his radio career began back in 1990.  Dan got into the business as an overnight personality from midnight to 6am on Sunday mornings, before eventually handling Saturday evening duties and then Saturday afternoon shifts.  In 1997, Dan left WEEU for an opportunity with WAEB-AM radio in Allentown and spent nearly the next 30 years working in the news department, the last 25 as the station’s news director and morning show news anchor.  In Dan’s 30 years in Allentown, he is proud to have received 21 awards from the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters for his work.

Dan has been fortunate to have been able to cover events featuring six U.S. presidents:  George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump and Joe Biden.  As an avid sports fan, Dan counts interviews with legends like Mike Schmidt, Chuck Bednarik, Larry Holmes, Mario Andretti and Robin Roberts as some of his fondest memories.

Dan and his wife, Candace, shared their first date with dinner at the Peanut Bar, then with a tour of WEEU studios (he thought he’d dazzle her) and watching My Cousin Vinny at the old Fox Theatre in Exeter.  They have been married since 1994 and have two sons, Ryan and Brent, who make their parents proud every day.

Dan grew up in Berks County and understands the place Feedback holds in the heart of the Berks community.  He hopes to maintain and even elevate the Feedback standard set by Jack Holcumb, Mike Faust and Bill Saunders and always will keep Feedback a show that is ‘Live, Local and Listening To You!’  Give Dan and Feedback a listen Monday-Friday from 10a-12p and better yet, give him a call and join the conversation.
